In the Heian period, the Honmoku Jinja was built. After World War Ⅱ, it was a dramatic history of reconstruction in Yokohama. There is a full of divine virtues which protect us from all kinds of disasters and lead to our peaceful life.

A Shinto wedding ceremony is held at Honmoku Jinja, which has a spacious and refreshing Jinja building, a bright and open precinct, and a full range of facilities. With the wonderful sounds of gagaku, the great "Kami" blesses the couple on their departure.
